Tollers Available for Adoption

Below are the Tollers we have in our Rescue Program that are available for adoption. There may be occasions when there are Tollers in our program that aren't listed. Generally this is because they are still being evaluated for temperament and health in their foster homes. We encourage you to check back often and complete the Rescue Adoption Application at your earliest convenience.

Lucky

Lucky

July 2010 - Lucky - Adoption Pending

Lucky was found lost in a ditch in Washington State and came to our rescue because she has many characteristics of a Toller.  Lucky is about 4-5 months old and a normal healthy puppy.  Because of her coat and markings, we don't think she is a purebred Toller but suspect she is most likely one of the herding breeds/mix.  She is very smart and loving.  She is good in her crate and is learning some basic obedience commands.  Lucky gets along well with other dogs.  She is being fostered in Oregon and will charm your socks off when you meet her.
Amber in Texas

May 2010 - Amber - Adopted!

Amber is under 2 years of age and was rescued from a Houston, TX shelter.  Everyone who has met Amber describes her as beautiful, smart and LOVES people.  She is very energetic and we call her our "Party Girl."  Amber will be ready to place in her new home after she has mastered some basic obedience skills.  Amber is fostered north of Houston.

Amber found her forever home in Corpus Christi, TX in July.

Copper in Illinois

May 2010 - Copper

Copper is a young male and  is ready to find his forever home, but it is going to be a very special home, that will be willing to work with him with clicker, positive training methods, and learn to read his stress signals to not overload him. He needs a quiet environment, as he is very noise sensitive. Once he learns to trust you he can work past scary noises. He can be a very brave boy but he needs someone patient enough to gain his trust. He likes routine, and when it changes he gets a bit stressed. His favorite things are going for walks and riding in the car. He loves to retrieve. Copper will not be placed in a home with children under the age of 10, cats, or small dogs.
Lacey in Georgia

May 2010 - Lacey

Lacey--female that is about 1 1/2 years who was rescued from a shelter in Florida.  She is very sweet and gets along well with other dogs.  Lacey is currently undergoing treatment for heart worms in her Georgia foster home and won't be ready to go to her forever home until later this summer.
Scout in Mississippi

MaY 2010 - Scout - Adoption Pending

Scout – young male, neutered, up-to-date on shots, healthy, gets along fine with other dogs, very friendly/loving, still a little shy from his bad experience at the hoarder/rescuer but improving every day.  Foster home is in Gulfport, MS.
